Welcome to the Cabin Ludlow

A warm welcome awaits you at The Cabin. We hope you find it a home from home from which you can explore the glorious countryside, towns and villages that are within easy reach. Your holiday can be as busy or relaxing as you choose.

The Cabin is adjacent to our farmhouse, set off Hope Bagot Lane within a 10 acre piece of our farm. This includes a small parcel of woodland and a lime kiln we have recently restored. With views into the village of Knowbury and further a field across Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire and on into Wales you can see something different every day. The Elan Valley aqua duct is visible just over the lane in another of our fields. We are blessed to be surrounded by farmland which is managed traditionally. We farm our land within the Natural England Higher Level Stewardship scheme. This ensures farming practices are less intensive therefore allowing a great diversity of flora and fauna to flourish. We have a small suckler cow herd and hens supplying free range eggs, and a handful of sheep.

Although it is very peaceful and tranquil here we are also within 4 miles of Tenbury Wells (Queen Victoria’s Little Town in the Orchard) and 6 miles from Ludlow a thriving medieval market town and architectural gem. Ludlow has also gained a reputation for its fine food and dining. Both towns have a plethora of privately owned shops as well as larger chain stores and supermarkets. Approximately 2 miles away is Clee Hill village with a village shop, post office and bakery for daily papers, milk, bread etc. Closer to hand, 100m down the lane is The Bennetts End Inn, fine food, wine and local beers within walking distance.

The Cabin is non smoking and no pets except for assistance dogs.
